How your data is used
Physics & Calculus Studio is a study tool made by a student for Physics for Engineers (2304153) and Calculus I (2301107). It is not an official Chulalongkorn University service.
What is stored
- Your account: your name and Chula email address, from your Chula Google account when you sign in.
- Your progress: answers to practice problems, mastery, your review schedule, the topics you marked as weak, finished challenges and settings.
- Your tutor chats: up to 30 chats, each with its last 60 messages.
- A profile photo, only if you add one, shrunk to a small picture.
Only you can read your progress, chats and photo. The database enforces this, not just the page. The site's administrator has technical access to the database to keep it running.
The AI tutor
When you message the tutor or check your work, the text of that message, the lesson context and the recent chat are sent to one of these free AI services to write the reply:
- Groq and Cloudflare Workers AI: their terms say they don't use it to train their models.
- Google Gemini (free tier): Google may use what is sent to improve its products, and people at Google may read some of it.
Your name and email are never sent to these services. Don't type your name, student ID or other personal details into the tutor. Each student can send about 10 AI messages a day, and the limit resets at midnight, Bangkok time.
Where it is kept
The database runs on Supabase in Singapore. The website runs on Cloudflare. Your data is kept until you delete your account. Older chats are dropped automatically once you have more than 30.
Deleting your data
Open Profile โ Account โ Delete my account. This removes your progress, chats, photo and login straight away, and it can't be undone.
